They were pretty stable until the debates.Kelly was the only Dem I see do well in a debate.Walker did well imo and the exceptions were already pretty low..Zeldin won against against Houchel and Fetterman looked like he needs 24 hour care.

I have to say for the record Fetterman has an auditory problem. His mental capacities, whatever one may think of them, are not impacted.

No candidate leading in every poll like Fetterman was should be debating imo.Him having auditory problems or just being a bad debater as many say even more so.

Ive never seen a candidates poll numbers drop from refusing to debate.I have seen many candidates poll numbers drop after a bad debate.

Debates are sort of an American tradition and politicians feel pressure to participate and no it doesn’t always work out.

Fetterman is running a campaign for a United States senate seat I think his internals most likely showed he had to show up. Yes the press was bad but bad press isnt always bad. What I will say is that Oz didn’t really take the bait and let the media do the dirty work.

  7. It would be sweet to see Don Bolduc win in New Hampshire. He is definitely within the margin of error now and he is very deserving. He is not a mouthy guy. Just a retired general who went out there and worked his arse off - all while he was being gamed and abused by both the democratic party and the republican party.

The Dems followed a plan to get a lot of dems to support him in the primary because they thought he would be easier to beat (howz that workin' out so far?) You could argue that they helped him but he and a lot of republicans and dems did not like to see that kind of dirty game in the state.

And then, because Bolduc said he would not support Mitch for majority leader, Mitch and the PACs that Mitch coordinates with made sure they cut off funding to Bolduc so he has had to go it alone. Another dirty game. One that he will be remembering, eh Mitch?

Anyway good luck to him. A retired general who has had to go it alone.

The best possible surprise would be to see Tiffany Smiley beat Patty Murray in Washington State. Admittedly, that's hoping for a lot. Just sayin it would be sweet. Against all odds, in a very, very blue state she has brought herself to within 5 points of Patty Murray, which is a MAJOR accomplishment, especially since Tiffany is from east of the mountains where people do real work for a living such as ranching and wheat farming. Unfortuanely King County/Seattle will determine the outcome as always so she needs lots of support from dems who don't like the fact that Seattle is an unliveable dump now. There are some votes there for sure but more loons for sure. Good job on her part anyway.

As an aside, my girl Kim Strassel with the Wall Street Journal thinks that Tiffany Smiley has a decent shot at it. And Kim is plenty smart and a Northwest girl so she is not just a beltway commentator, so she puts a little juice into watching that race. As I said, it is probably hoping against hope but it is fun to watch em sweat in Seattle. It is about like the Zeldin race in New York. Even if he loses, the dems are thinking "how the hell did we end out here in a state that Biden carried by more than 20 points?"

Not sure New Hampshire is hoping against hope though. Bolduc just may do the deed. No thanks to Mitch.

  10. Not what Hassan wants to read at this stage of the game.

Mitch McConnell and the RNC duds need to go. They abandoned Bolduc and withdrew funding right when the general was beginning his final assault.

He may still make it. Either way, the duds have to go. In the case of the RNC, do not give to them. Give to your candidate and do not give to PACS that are in cahoots with them.

Poll: Most Undecided Voters Favor Bolduc in New Hampshire Senate Race

According to the latest poll from Wick Insights, New Hampshire’s Republican senate candidate Don Bolduc leads his Democratic rival — the incumbent Maggie Hassan — by a mere 0.1 percent, while 95 percent of those who remain undecided favor the GOP candidate when prompted to choose.
