Michael Moore once again indicating a Trump victory is at hand. Democrats learned nothing from 2016 because they spent zero time looking at their own weaknesses. Does anyone really believe a party that is serious about winning would be running the likes of Joe Biden? They are comfortable being the party of opposition. Just complain and offer nothing of substance as a solution. They still collect a check and enjoy the elitist experience that comes with the job.
Tbh, it would actually be a smart move on the part of the MSM and every other talking head to start saying "Trump is ahead". That's what happened to Hillary. Lots of folks stayed home or didn't even bother to register early on as it looked like she had it wrapped up. Look for a new "fear" movement to start. Actually I guess it already has since Moore is spouting off in this regard. People can say what they want about him, but the guy's not stupid. The last thing the Dems need right now is to believe Biden is a sure thing. Maybe that's why the polls are dropping, ie its deliberate. Take nothing for granted, dirty tricks are now commonplace. (I suspect they always were though)
That is a possible strategy, or as Duyba would say, strateagery. Take nothing for granted, for sure. I still say the democratic party has become very comfortable in their opposition to anything and everything, and a loss keeps them in that comfort zone. They also know it's going to take some heavy handed action in the coming year to stop the mob violence and they would rather be shouting from the cheap seats rather than being in the thick of it deciding it's time to start shooting rioters, which we all know is inevitable at this point.
As somewhat of a variation of that argument, I do believe that Obama is comfortable with Joe losing. People say, no, Obama wants the dems to win because Trump is a repudiation of all things Obama and messes his legacy up. Nope, I don't believe that. If Joe loses, as Hillary did, then the Narcissist in Chief Obama remains basking in the light of being the last real democrat who was not treated as a complete joke. He can appear anywhere now and be treated as a demi-god. If Joe wins, part of those discussions will always be about having to 'splain what Joe is doing and help to pretty it up. That is not much fun and not that easy either. Barry and Mooch are raking in the big bucks hand over fist by recycling some tingles up the legs of the base. There are no tingles in discussions when Joe Biden's name comes into the discussion. It weakens his mojo to try to prop up Joe. During the peak of a campaign season maybe. But year after year if he wins, no.
Pennsylvania: Trump 46%, Biden 46% Thursday, September 03, 2020 President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden are running dead even in Pennsylvania. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey of Likely Voters in the Keystone State finds Trump and Biden with 46% support each. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and another four percent (4%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) Among the 82% of voters who say they are certain now how they will vote in the presidential election, Trump holds a slight 51% to 49% advantage. ----(quick reminder---Trump only needs to win one of 3 states, Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin and he's reelected)----
100% you close this thread on Nov 3, 2020. A certainty. A HISTORIC victory for Scranton's favorite son!
True that ppl stayed home bc of the absurdity of electing a serial loser/retard/rapist/psychopath/Trumptard and the Comey Hatch Act violation didn't help either. Funny that nothing came of that laptop.
That like from @BeautifulStranger just brought this back up on my radar. I happened to see Carl Rove last night on whatever channel it was..... he said the exact same thing fwiw. The Hispanic vote might not be the clincher, but I promise you the polls are wrong. Trump will get a bunch in the battleground states that matter. Especially FL and TX.
Tuesday, September 15, 2020 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.
