Probably, that's my guess. Timing is everything. I'm gonna wait for the rumor that they intend to ban short selling emerges. I can see Kudlow poking his nose down that rabbit-hole soon enough...
2020 Arizona flips.Dems win presidential and Senate race https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...-digit-lead-against-mcsally-in-arizona-senate Poll: Kelly opens up double-digit lead against McSally in Arizona Senate race Democratic Senate candidate Mark Kelly (D) has a 12-point lead over Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) in the Arizona Senate race, according to a Univision poll released Friday. Kelly, a former astronaut, is challenging McSally, who lost the general election in 2018 to Sen. Krysten Sinema (D). McSally was later appointed to the Senate to succeed interim Sen. Jon Kyl (R), who filled Sen. John McCain's (R) seat following his death in 2018. In the Univision poll, Kelly earned 48 percent support among registered voters, while McSally earned 36 percent support. Kelly polled significantly better than his opponent among Latino and black voters. However, the Univision poll isn't the first sign of an uphill battle for McSally. A poll released earlier this week by OH Predictive Insights, a Phoenix-based polling firm, showed Kelly with 49 percent support among Arizona voters, compared with 42 percent for McSally. Arizona, a key state that went to President Trump in 2016, also appears to be leaning Democratic in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election. When given the choice between former Vice President Joe Biden and Trump, 50 percent of respondents chose Biden and 42 percent chose Trump. In a head-to-head against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the other Democratic presidential front-runner, 48 percent chose the Vermont senator over the president. Both Biden and Sanders received support from more than 60 percent of Latinos and more than 70 percent of black voters. When given the option to chose between Trump and whomever wins the Democratic nomination, 51 percent of voters said they would support the Democratic nominee and 41 percent supported Trump. The poll surveyed 1,036 likely voters in Arizona and has a 3 percent margin of error.
Arizona loves Biden https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/03/13/arizona-no-wonder-trump-doesnt-want-face-biden/ Biden’s strength in Arizona spells trouble for Trump Jennifer Rubin President Trump has not been irrational on one topic: He really does not want to run against former vice president Joe Biden. Even in a state Trump won in 2016, Arizona, he is in serious trouble if Biden is his opponent. The OH Predictive Insights Arizona poll shows “Biden leading President Donald Trump in a head-to-head matchup by 6 points. However, the same poll shows Trump beating Sen. Bernie Sanders by 7 points.” Here is the critical point: “The reason for this performance gap between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden is that less than three-quarters of the respondents who said they would vote for Biden in a head to head match up with Donald Trump also said they would vote for Sanders if he were to be the nominee.” Likewise, the Univision/Arizona State University poll shows Biden’s favorable/unfavorable rating (48 percent to 41 percent) far rosier than Trump’s (46 percent to 54 percent). Biden beats Trump by eight percentage points in a head-to-head match-up, while Sanders leads by five points. By a 63 percent to 16 percent margin, voters are less likely to vote for someone identified as a socialist. (56 percent to 24 percent if a “democratic socialist”). Against Sanders, Biden leads by a huge margin of 51 percent to 34 percent. Part of Trump’s problem certainly is his stance on immigration. In Arizona 73 percent of voters favor a path to citizenship for the “dreamers,” while 55 percent oppose a wall on the southern border. By a 52 percent to 48 percent margin, voters in Arizona think Trump should have been impeached and removed. Some 59 percent say Trump’s policies have not benefited them personally at all or only a little bit. Noteworthy: 52 percent say they will not vote for Trump under any circumstances. These figures undermine the notion that the only way to beat Trump is through capturing or recapturing white male voters in the Upper Midwest. With numbers like these from Arizona, a road through the Sun Belt or South (e.g., Texas, Florida, Georgia) could very well put Biden over 270 electoral votes. Biden’s strength in Arizona among Hispanics (61 percent would choose him over Trump) and with women (52 percent to 38 percent) also suggests that he might maximize his already strong position with these two groups of voters by putting someone from the region on the ticket, perhaps a prominent Latina such as New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham or Sen. Catherine Masto Cortez (D-Nev.). There is a Senate race this year in Arizona as well, which provides more bad news for Republicans. Democrat Mark Kelly leads appointed incumbent Republican Martha McSally by a 48 percent to 36 percent margin. Finally, a word about young voters is in order. In the primary, Sanders certainly does better than Biden with these voters. However, in a general election, these voters passionately line up behind a generic (64 percent to 29 percent) Democrat or behind Biden (62 percent to 28 percent) specifically. Biden certainly would want these voters to turn out in strong numbers, but the eventual nominee will have a big asset in luring all parts of the Democratic coalition: Trump will be on the ballot.
Mark Kelly is a fucking dream candidate. Navy captain,Astronaut,no scandels, stood by his wife every step of the way after she was shot in the head and most thought she would be a vegetable(Would Trump have done the same?). Watch out for him in 2028
https://ktar.com/story/2921692/mark...ion-year-with-big-cash-lead-over-sen-mcsally/ Mark Kelly heads into election year with big cash lead over Sen. McSally By Kevin Stone | January 15, 2020 at 1:50 pm PHOENIX – In what’s shaping up to be one of the most expensive U.S. Senate campaigns of 2020, and the costliest in Arizona history, Democrat Mark Kelly continues to dominate incumbent Sen. Martha McSally on the fundraising front. Kelly and McSally both closed out 2019 with their best hauls of the year, but the challenger outraised the first-term Republican by more than $2 million in the fourth quarter and has amassed a far larger war chest. Kelly’s campaign on Tuesday touted a 2019 fourth quarter total of over $6.2 million, more than 50% higher than McSally’s announced total of around $4 million. “This campaign took off like a rocket at the beginning of last year and hasn’t slowed down, and neither have the grassroots donors that are powering Mark’s Mission for Arizona,” Jen Cox, Kelly’s campaign manager, said in a press “They know that Mark will take his experience as a combat pilot, astronaut and engineer to fight for issues that matter to our state.” The Q4 totals track with the yearly numbers in the race, with Kelly taking in around $20.2 million in 2019 to McSally’s $12 million, according to the campaigns. The Federal Elections Commission database has not yet been updated with fourth quarter reports.
No one in their right mind would vote for Bernie the communist. Same with liberal left Joe the Gaffer.
