Democrats need to move on from saying the 2016 election loss was all about Comey, the Russians, etc. -- stop trying to find excuses (which is a continual liberal problem) -- Man up and state clearly that changes are needed to the party and its message in order to have national level success in 2018 and 2020.

It's a fact, you don't make it go away by not saying it

    https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-comey-letter-probably-cost-clinton-the-election/

Comey cost Clinton the election by shifting her support by 1% and the Russian misinfo campaign that targeted swing state further dented her chances. These are facts, not excuses.

Trump had 46.1% of the popular vote. Remember that election results include only voters. Surveys include non-voters and non-citizens.

Trumps approval has gone down from November and will likely be down in 2020.If Trumps approval is lower than it was in Nov 2016 he is likely to get fewer votes and a guy who won by 78,000 votes cant afford to lose any votes.

  7. The dems complain about comey allegedly costing clinton the election but it is the opposite. If comey had been an impartial professional not under Loretta the Tarmac Queen's thumb and if the investigator he appointed to be in charge of the clinton investigation -McCabe- was not married to a woman who received 720K from the dem party, then hillary never would have made it far enough along to even be in the running at election time when his letter allegedly torpedoed her.

If her last name were not Clinton she would be in prison now. That is what is a fact. Comey only released that letter because he was taking massive heat for not having done a full investigation on hillary and he wanted to try to counter the growing grumbling that he was just a political hack who was incapable of looking at anything negative about Hillary. Of course, he only made things worse and ended out with the dems calling him a hack too. But there is no basis there for making hillary out to be a victim. She should have been in prison by then rather than bothering the rest of us with her election woes.

Who would you believe, a qualified statistical analyst with a record like Nate Silver

Or some right wing hillbilly whining about 'Clinton would be in prison now' as a fact.

Simple question - name ONE OCA in the history of the republic who has gone to prison for RECEIVING unsolicited emails that were not even marked as classified. Just name one, let's see the precedent.

More people voted for the democrat in 6 of the last 7 presidential elections. We have some problems to solve but our message and policies are fine as most people agree with democrats over republicans

The belief that your "message and policies are fine" is the reason the Democratic party will continue to slide downhill at a national level. If Democrats want to win then the party needs to reform its message and policies to address the concerns of Americans spread across the country.

How bad is the "message and policies" of the Democratic party. They are so bad that you were beaten by Donald f@cken Trump.
