So why is the ice expanding in the Antarctic?

Why is CO2 picking and choosing its cooling beneficiaries?

Why did you claim you got laid on an Orlando, FL beach?

because over the long run the earth has been warming since the last ice age.

ricter you are smarter than that... you know there is an energy balance.

Well if the Earth continues to warm, then CO2 is not that great of a coolant, considering its rapid increase.

The earth has not warmed in 17 years. The oceans have only warmed 0.06 degrees since 1960.

Rapid increase? You are ignoring the actual facts!

The arctic ice is also expanding quickly in the last year also. Maybe the "choosing of beneficiaries" is due to local climate and weather conditions, changes in the axial tilt of the earth, and the sun - nothing to do with CO2. CO2 and globally temperature are easily within the long term average of the earth's history over the past 100,000 years.

are you making the same ignorant argument as fc that greenhouse gases only warm ?

surely you don't need me to say that the earth would have warmed and burned off its atmosphere cycles ago if there were not negative feedback cycles. The earth warms but clouds CO2 can also stop it from getting much warmer by reflecting the suns energy.

Rapid increase in the CO2 level.
