  1. Not trying to justify my current performance. Just putting a positive face on a dire prognosis

    with what you expressed herein,

i shall take off my tall hat and salute you....

though you are not at this very moment recapturing profitability,

but you have the characteristics of potentially great traders, neke.

three salutes for you and the very best in trading as well.... to come....

  2. Congrats on positive. Put a sticky note on your screen with the 1 trade/day rule and everyone time you have the impulse to take another trade it will remind you of a rule. Not taking anything away from this rule but it will be interesting to see what happens when you have a string of losers.

  3. Geeze, I need to learn how to type. Let me try in English.

Congrats on positive week. Put a sticky note on your screen with the 1 trade/day rule. Every time you have the impulse to take more then one trade / day, it will remind you not to.

Not taking anything away from this rule but it will be interesting to see what happens when you have a string of losers. Will you be able to stick to the rule? Time will tell.

neke, I have a thought that I entertain during trading. it is a bad rehash of what I heard from my Buddhist teachers over the years, i.e.

"Fixing the past" is flawed thinking.

It is like buying the most expensive coffin for a loved one out of guilt for not attending her better when she was alive. Whatever happened has already happened. The thought that there is something to be done in the present to fix or mask the past is mere play of concepts in our heads. It is mental masturbation. You touch it (the past) twice and you are playing with it.

As the teachers would say " The past is gone and the future has yet to come." - Stay fresh.

  9. Neke what does real financial research sound like to you?

Do you have daily winning percentages greater than 99.8%? If not please go back and study but please stop losing this money. It's funny that prior to optimization the effect of simply adding real time stops trail stops and targets has increased my win percentages to over 99.1% in some cases on thousands of trades with 20958 trade backtest in 4 years earning a 103 million percent return account so please, Neke, you need to switch brokers. What are you on? Strategy desk? Oh, I can tell you that with your automation depending on how frequently your signal appears that I can tell you trading on timed intervals are practically useless if they aren't sensitive minute by minute changes as 1 minute bars are.
