  1. Automation made him money. Sorry to say but if you are not making money in this market as a trader, something is wrong.

Got to love bullshit statements like this. As if there is only one way to trade. I'll say the same thing to you when the volatility is dead.

you're wrong. when volatility is dead is almost impossible to make money. the current conditions are the best for any trader to succeed as the volatility magnifies the trade range and thus reduce the weight of comms and slippage in the trading expectancy.

That is part of it but the main reason why volatile markets are easier to trade is volitility creates emotional trading, specifically fear, or you could say the fear creates the volatility, the two actually feed off each other until you get some of capitulation when all the weak hands are shaken out.

This means the markets are even less random than usual when they are volatile.

Neke: it takes guts to continue posting your trade results, particularly during times of large drawdown and the public ridicule you have endured. I admire your courage.

Neke, here's a little something to give you motivation that rebuilding your account can be done:

That above account started with 100,000 dollar back in June 2011. So in four short months it's up almost 300%. All of this was done using a simple system that exploit one single repeating pattern in the stock market. And all was done with low risks and a 'conservative' size of 20 contracts. I'm showing you this to show you that it's possible, BUT only if you know what you're doing and you have a system that WORKS!!!

  7. Ha, guess I hit a nerve. So what you are telling me is volatility is not good for your trading results. Did I say there is one way to trade? Go F yourself.

So, what's your point? Whether it's a demo or live trading doesn't affect entries or exits as long as the system's rules are obey. And yes the demo is in real time, so therefore it can be considered as good enough evidence of the system validity. And I do have a live account with similar results, but don't care to post it here. :)
