  4. neke, that is a great result. congrats.

but what did you trade, pls?

i have the feeling that most traders here are very interested in what you actually traded, product and time, sort of thing, you know?

we are not too much interested in your dollar amount, profit and loss which are only meaningful to acct owner.... right?

tell us what you traded and whence, AND THE REASONS YOU PICKED THAT PARTICULAR MOMENT TO ENTER THE LONG OR SHOR.... AND ALSO REASONS YOU LIQUIDATE YOUR POSITION.... if you have time to spare.... and thx.

that sort of thing is much more meaningful to other interested traders who might or might not agree with your decision to pull the trigger....
but then everyone can learn from your posts.... positively or negatively....

am just trying to help you to better focus on the trading side of the equation.... when you learn to do this well on the trading side.... the right hand side of the equation will eventually and automatically increase....

proportionately with your increase in your trading skills, stats, strats and risk/reward management applications.... ok?

3 cheers for the good renewed efforts.... :) :) :)

    Mr. Indian,
Why not hire a mentor to teach you to trade. There are a lot of good books you can buy also to teach you to trade...

  6. ehsmama:

hey thx for your comment, though uncharacteristic of any traders community, particularly those learning how to trade circle....

i'll be glad to hire you as a mentor.... i'll be even willing to pay you 100 euro per hour.... if you can help me to become a better and more profitable trader....

would you be interested, e-mama? pls do let me know soon, k? ....

and furthermore, what exactly are the names of those good books that YOU HAVE PERSONALLY READ that you can personally recommend one or two that have already helped traders to become more profitable... pls?....

Weekly Update for week 30/50 ended 8/05/2011

    Another great week, up 20k( 9% ).

The volatility in the market introduced a flurry of activities in my automated/mechanical system. Much of that activity was on Wed/Thurs/Fri. Scooped up some oversold stocks on Wed, made a little gain selling early as I was not comfortable holding to EOD. Lost most of that on Thurs when a similar attempt was met with continued steep sell off in the markets. Finally a third attempt on Fri yielded bountiful gains. No stand-out gainer, but what stands out is the number of oversold calls generated by my system. At one point I was out of buying power well before the market bottomed and was sitting on losses. Gladly came the rebound. Still will ponder the question of how much exposure to take when lots of signals are being generated within a short time span. One day the market may have another flash crash or an Oct 1987 type sell off that doesn't come back the same day. Need to be better prepared for that.

  10. Good job. Nice week.

I can't tell too much from these stats, though. I liked the journal a lot more when you highlighted the best and worst trades.

Maybe it just takes too much time, and you don't want to keep everyone waiting.
