SouthAmerica: Looking forward to the next world cup in 2010:

These players will retire from the national team since they are too old:

Ronaldo - born on September 22, 1976 (He will be 30 years old in September)

    Dida - born on October 7, 1973

    Cafu – born on June 19, 1970

    Lucio - born on May 8, 1978

Roberto Carlos – born on April 10, 1973

    ****

These players still have a future with the Brazilian national team:

The Brazilian team will improve its attack in the coming years as the following players get more seasoned for the next world cup.

    Ronaldinho – born on March 21, 1980

    Adriano – born on February 17, 1982

    Kaka - born on June 15, 1982

    Fred – born on October 03, 1983

    Robinho – born on January 25, 1984

  2. SA, remember when I said your country has ethanol and its soccer team as its highlights?

Well, all you have now is ethanol.

  4. My mental notes/article as a non-soccer person --

Ronaldinho -- if you're going to be a showboat -- you really better come through with the goods. He didn't.

Ronaldo -- maybe he really is an aging fatman.

Carfu - why is he the captain? Seems pretty lackluster.

Ball always seemed in BR end. Felt ominous right from the start.

France -- understated elegance. Only the second time for me I have seen Ribery play. Wow.

BR actually lucky that wasn't 2-0, possibly even 3-0.

    Great fun to watch.

SouthAmerica: Please don’t fool yourself – After the world cup ends Brazil still will be ranked number 1 in the World by FIFA's ranking system.

And if Filipao still was the coach of the Brazilian team even with these ageing and overweight players he would manage to coach the team to the finals.

Look at the job that he is doing with the Portuguese team – with a lot less talent than we have in the Brazilian national team.

In my opinion, at this point of the world cup tournament there is no team that is playing outstanding soccer – all four finalists had a hard time getting to the final 4 – that reminds me of the saying: better lucky than good.

I want to remind you that both times Brazil lost to France – Parreira was the Brazilian coach and not Felipao.

  8. Brazilian authorities are looking for a person which according to leading local voodoo experts , jinxed Brazilian soccer team . They described him/her as :

    1. obsessively cocky
    2. commie sympathizer
    3. ben laden sympathizer
    4. Hugo sympathizer
    5. Knows s*hit about soccer and in the matter of fact , about anything that he talks about .

Rio's shamans organisation offered a reword of yearly supply of ethanol for any info which can help to catch the most hated man in Brazil.

Does ET allowed search base on physiological profile ?
