$200 billion tariffs on China by thursday

  1. See how long it lasts when whiny Americans have to pay more for all their stuff and cry to end the tariffs. We are a consumer nation and the mass consumer will always cry louder than the small in comparison industry being protected. That is why Japanese auto import tariffs failed and were contested by all those Americans with dealerships selling Hondas and Toyotas.

  2. I wish the goals were the betterment of the trade relations but unfortunately, this administration addresses the issues tactically and looks at everything politically. just red meat for his base.

Trump says tariffs on China could be raised by another $300 billion if necessary
    • "Our talks with China, a lot of interesting things are happening. We'll see what happens ... I could go up another at least $300 billion and I'll do that at the right time," President Donald Trump said Thursday.
    • Negotiations between Beijing and President Donald Trump's administration took a turn for the worse in early May with the increase of tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods exported to the U.S.
