Those kind of numbers tend to put Covid in perspective for those who STILL are bent on denying it's a problem. It's sad but the public had a role in this. edit - maybe 160,000 infections a day is the recent floor.
Thanksgiving caused increased infections, hospitalizations and deaths here in Québec, Canada after its Thanksgiving in early October. Now the United States have had increasing infections, hospitalizations and death going into Thanksgiving and will be scary to see the numbers about 2 - 3 weeks after November Thanksgiving. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/coronavirus-deaths-united-states-each-day-2020-n1177936 I have security cameras on my home in the U.S that I monitor here from Canada. Today, I was looking at the neighbours home next door and across the street. One looks like they're having a family reunion and the other looks like (I recognize the cars) has their three adult children home for Thanksgiving... Their children live out of state. In addition, I subscribe to a Chicago TV channel and they were interviewing travelers at OHare airport. There was a guy wearing a knitted face mask in which you can see his mustache through the knitted face mask. Simply, too many people traveling around for Thanksgiving. As for the bonehead guy with the knitted face mask...if he tests positive for Covid-19 a week from now...I'm sure he will say he wore his face mask and have questions about why he still became sick even though he wore his face mask. wrbtrader
We should all just stop living and die already? Old people are going to die anyway so what is the fuss?
Live your life but stay away from the Covididiots even if its a friend, relative or neighbour. wrbtrader
Why should I stay away from anyone? Getting a cold is no big deal. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.
If you choose to hang out with someone that you know for fact is a Covididiot... Nothing happens...great. Yet, if something happens (mild illness, you get infected but you're asymptomatic and you then infect someone that's immune system compromise, has an underlying medical condition, hospitalization or death)... That's something you'll have to live with for the rest of your life. Personally, I'm living life normally as possible except not able to fly to France and the United States. Got 2 feet of snow the other day and its getting colder...soon everybody here will be wearing a scarf around their face and winter gloves / hat. Will be shocked if I meet someone complaining about wearing a face mask when temperatures will soon drop as low as -20 F or lower on many days in the winter. P.S. Vaccine is around the corner...many people will be back to normal by summer of next year. A few years from now, many will be taking their seasonal Covid-19 shot with their seasonal Flu shot. wrbtrader
2300 deaths in the US just yesterday continuing a series of 2000+ days. And some fools are still posting their stupid theories. It's like their tiny minds can't comprehend the numbers and they think it's 20 deaths. The immoral guys speak about "old people" like they are going to die tomorrow anyways and have no worth to society. Better these creeps like FortuneTeller die. Hey, FortuneTeller, you are going to die anyways, might as well be today buddy.
I think the average Covid-19 death is between 52 - 53 of age. In contrast, the economic / financial damage is in the Covid-19 hospitalization via the cost of such...many of the unemployed lost their health insurance going into the 2nd wave and the average age of the hospitalization is less than age 50... The age since the 1st wave has been steadily declining since although the % of deaths has been declining. Simply, to some people...even if they survive a Covid-19 hospitalization, the hospitalization bill is financially ruining them and ethically this causes another problem. Hospitals are increasingly being put into the position of giving the best treatments to those that can afford their Covid-19 hospitalization because they were able to continue affording health insurance whereas those that can not afford... There's increasing % of them being sent home early without the proper care or sent to another hospital that may be less suited for dealing with Covid-19 and are reaching over capacity. Thus, its not about the old people are dying. That piss ass poor excuse was used in the 1st wave and can not be used in the 2nd wave because of the declining age of those getting infected, hospitalize and death plus the increasing financial costs (hospitalization) from Covid-19. This is one of the stark difference in income disparities of patients in the hospitals in Canada in comparison to United States. In Canada, the poor is treated the same as the rich and its not going to ruin your life financially in which you can not recover from. I've always stated since the 1st wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic when I hear one of these Covididiots make that statement about the elderly...its a shame that the hospitals in United States, Canada or any other country did not have the capacity to treat people for Covid-19 based upon what they have been doing (not wearing face masks appropriately) and what they've been saying on social media. I'll give an example, my girlfriend is an ICU nurse and she recognize a patient...a parent of one of her friends and a Covididiot / Denier being treated in the same ICU as another Covid-19 patient that's 27 years old with an underlying medical condition... She said its tough because they have to be treated fairly and with the same medical care. Reminds me of a TV hospital show when a gunshot patient that had killed a police officer in a failed bank robbery was being treated in the emergency room to save his life with police standing outside the hospital emergency room door... They were all relieved when doctors came out and said the shooter (killer) didn't survive. Covid-19 truly does expose people for whom they really are as a human being. wrbtrader
Oh yeah, you are the guy who wrote on my personal profile page telling me to die and fuck off and then had 2 of your liberal retarded friends like it. (See the one I sent you, asslicker). You are one classy dude there. I see you Canadians are massaging each others big ones here in this thread. I guess that is what you do up north, eh? Kind of boring up there in the cold, dreary north? LOL
