that makes sense. because america is swinging to the far left +advent of the nanny state. you have to be able to control the disgruntled serfs.
in the former soviet union dissidents, whose views made them deemed out to be crazy by their government, were treated with strong anti- psychotic drugs to make them more manageable.

Its all in the commercials that are pounded into the heads of every American day in and day out. Think about it:

Commercials last what, 30 seconds each? They show a short scene of people doing something awesome. That makes the viewer want to do that same awesome thing. What they leave out is the endless hours of preparation. What does this all mean? Americans have been bred to look for the quick fix.

And what better way than to pop a pill?

Even at the recommended dose acetaminophen is very taxing on the liver. Avoid it all costs. A better alternative is ibuprofen, which isn't quite as harsh but it can cause stomach problems. Take it with food and you should be ok but there are some people who still can't tolerate it.

  5. yes, ibuprofen can cause stomach bleeding. I wonder what other options there are. Diet and exercise is best.

  7. Biggest medicare fraud scam ever busted

Authorities busted a ring of reputed Armenian gangsters who they allege perpetrated the most ginormous Medicare fraud of all time, racking up $163 million in fake claims.

The criminals allegedly set up more 118 "phantom" clinics and used stolen identities of doctors and patients to fraudulently bill Medicare for over $163 million.

The addresses were just rented mailboxes.

The gang is also suspected of hiring strippers to file fake car-insurance claims.

To report Medicare fraud, you can file a report with the Office of the Inspector...

  8. Ayurvedic medicines face EU ban from May 1

London, Feb 3 (PTI) A ban on the sale of Ayurvedic and other herbal medicines will take effect across Europe from May 1 following a European Union directive introduced as a response to growing concern over adverse effects of such alternative medicines.

Users and promoters of such medicines have called the EU directive called The Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive, 2004/24/EC, "discriminatory and disproportionate".

Ayurvedic and traditional herbal medicines will need to licensed to comply with the EU directive passed in 2004, which takes effect from May 1.

Official sources said those ayurvedic products marketed before the legislation came into force in 2004 can continue to market their product until April 30, 2011, under the transitional measures.

Once this time limit has expired, all herbal medicinal products must have prior authorisation before they can be marketed in the EU. Ayurvedic medicines such as "ashwagandha" will not be available for sale across Europe from May 1.

The directive aims to protect users from any damaging side-effects that can arise from taking unsuitable medicines.

New European Union rules have come into force banning hundreds of traditional herbal remedies.

The EU law aims to protect consumers from possible damaging side-effects of over-the-counter herbal medicines.
