  2. I think there should be priorities and I think the right generally has no idea how much goes toward welfare and thinks welfare is mostly the reason for the deficit and it is some huge percentage of the budget. They jump up and down about a service that helps people in need but cheer on the latest weapons systems and wars and sweetheart military contracts which sucks away half of our discretionary spending.

Some folks will always cheat the system. It should be stopped but simply removing or reducing welfare will also hurt the majority of people on it that actually do need it.

It bothers us more when some welfare person is driving a Hummer and uses food stamps for cookies. It makes us feel like suckers for playing the game straight. It's in our face. But the cheating going on in the defense and banking industry is below the radar, more obscure, and so it doesn't make us as mad. It's harder to hate a system of cheating than a person cheating the system.

LOL!!! I have to take issue with South FL being listed. I live in North FL, and can promise you that South FL is NO LONGER a part of the US, and should not be considered. South FL is a 3rd World Country at best:(

As for Jacksonville? What more can you ask for when the ghettos are no longer in one or two spots? Jax has taken fed $ and spread the ghettos out ALL OVER the city. You can be in an "ok" area, and then two blocks later, be in the hood.

There have been numerous studies showing the FACT that INTEGRATION = CRIME, yet, the pc police in the federal gubment have to bow down to the trash that votes for them like clockwork. NEVER in a million years would I think that segregation works, but can now attest for a FACT that it does.

Same thing in Puerto Rico. I lived there for two years, and one time I asked my sales manager why there were these magnificent homes so close to demilitarized areas. He said that a time ago the government got it into their idiot heads that if they moved poor people close to the rich folk, the poor would see what it was like to be rich and aspire to work harder in life.

This brilliant idea had led to many of the rich folk leaving the area completely, a collapse in housing prices, a rise in crime and some rich communities erecting massive walls around their neighborhood as a result. Brilliant!

I think the last 50 years in America is proof segregation is best.
