20,000+ Floridians each week stand to lose benefits unless Senate acts soon!!!!!

  1. No one needs to work any more. Free money for everyone.

  2. THAT needs to change.... Everybody receiving a government subsidy check should STOP GETTING THEIR CHECK. Instead, they should get a cot in a shelter with 3 meals a day and basic health care. If they want more than that out of their lives, they need to GET A JOB AND BECOME SELF-SUPPORTING!!

If the "productive" in our society are going to be forced to "support" the non-productive, it should be at a MINIMAL cost and benefit.

  3. Anybody else sick of middle-aged women with hyphenated last names from Florida?

  4. It was a function of the "every divorced, remaired housewife has become a realtor" rampage. Hyphenated names look more impressive with the hairspray bees nest.

As far as the 20,000+ week losing benefits, I have a solution. Your last unemployment check comes with a life vest and a southeastern gulf current forecast. Both recommended for the swim back home.

I for one would LOVE to see this. Collect all the disenfranchised under one roof. Sounds like the makings of a revolution to me...

Or are you suggesting installing "special showers"?

  10. Special showers? Not at all... unless you're talking about for the Federal Government...

I think those on government support are "too comfortable"... comfortable enough that maybe they have no incentive to get off of it.

My grandpa used to say, "Make something of yourself. The world doesn't owe you a living".
