2 Russian gas pipelines sabotaged by CIA? :-)

  1. Both NS2 and NS1 are damaged right now...
    That's the end for both pipelines.
    I guess it will require big reparations taking many weeks before any of them can ever go online again.

    By the way - this photo was taken in that area of the sea, prior to the explosion that killed the pipelines:

    In Dramatic Escalation, European Nat Gas Prices Soar After Gazprom Warns Ukraine Flows At Risk
    by Tyler Durden, Tuesday, Sep 27, 2022 - 06:19 PM

    In a day of constant news surrounding European gas flows, including the potential sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline, moments ago, Russia state-owned gas giant Gazprom PJSC warned that another major source of gas flows to Europe was at risk, just hours after three massive gas pipelines were hit by suspected sabotage.

    As Bloomberg reports, in a dramatic escalation of the energy standoff between Russia and Europe in little over 24 hours, the Nord Stream pipeline was knocked out by what German officials said looked like sabotage. Gazprom then said that one of two remaining routes bringing gas to Europe - via Ukraine - was at risk because of a legal spat.

    Why Russian? Because this is exactly the sort of thing they've engaged in in this conflict. In addition, nobody else have a remote reason to do this.

    The gas outflows have indeed been shut down for some time. At this point they just want to stirr the kettle and have the useful idiots siding with them once again.

    I think you vastly overestimate "risk of being caught" with a small craft of some sort far from Swedish and Danish coasts. It is essentially close to zero. And if they did, it would be some terrorists or CIA agents as per OP logic.

  9. I think the propability for a Russian nuclear strike just rose to 95% IMHO.

  10. I guess the bombs were planted long ago, they just now got fired remotely.

    I think they provoke Russia, test the reaction of Russia...

    It is normally usual with Russia that Russia first carries its investigation and replies only then
    (unlike the hysteric US cowboys which first shoot and only afterwards ask);
    this can take many days and weeks.

    The "Energy Wars" just have begun...
