The psychological impact of the FED action is huge and that is what matters to the market.

  2. After junk bonds, Fed will be buying preferreds and common...then e-mini S&Ps, SPYs, QQQs, DIA, and IWM ETFs. By June they will be selling VIX futures.

Cutting of your own nose to spite your face there.

Just because it's BS and it's wrong, doesn't mean it isn't happening, opinions will be the death of us all.

When we look back to the Roman Empire, what they did, to save it, it's quite similar.
It doesn't surprise ; one does, whatever it takes, to save his homeland/nation. Usually.

I still wonder tho, will at some point, future generations will look back at these print out the thin air moments, as to a lesson, of what not to do.
(for that to happen, first, a real, financial crisis has to happen, not some farp in the wind, like corona or 08's)

The theory, (by some), that China had it as a plan, to spread this nonsense, while being prepared, makes some sense, since the damage done to them, is smaller(?), than to EU and US.

Both EU and US went print out of the thin air road.
That's a hit to the rep, is it not ?
Did China printed Yuan out of the thin air during this ? (wasn't following the news lately)

Disclaimer : im not taking any sides in here, just looking at it, as of chess game of major powers.

Everyone thinks money printing works. Like you said they will look back and this and this will be something we wish never occurred with all the fed money printing...agree.

Leftie, thinking, doesn't matter, just print more without considering the flip side, that more money devalues the money you have.

Can't agree nor disagree, yet open for discussion, to find out the roots of this game and to form an opinion (yet based on speculation mostly, thus, it's basically worthless, tho better than nothing...) , about potential outcomes in the future.

Dalio said - it's always just another one of those, so is the printing story i guess ?
    And it never ends well.
