    WOW, what a bounce today.

Some good trades today after the top turned back down:

Ended the day nicely in the black, but missed the ride to the moon to close out the week. Some day I may try something daring . . . Wow, what a second bounce today. I think it must be a long for the record books.

    Another lock-limit day. Wow.

I waited patiently for some confirmed UP action, and then pounced.

Here are 7 MNQ longs. I have this tendency to miss the big moves but I still get some good scalps:

    Newest trade at the top:

And I updated my Multicharts platform, so I should be able to get more stats soon. The commission on the micros has to be set correctly or it really screws things up.

First loss of the day at about -60 ticks. But I took it like a man and moved on. Then see what happened.

I finally found my AMP report from yesterday. It was in my spam folder. How do these junk mail controls work anyway?

Despite the big down day yesterday, I did well at $197.57 net. With 19 trades, that is about $10.4 per trade or about 21 ticks per trade average on Monday.

I am up to $4,763 as of yesterday and today I did well too.

  7. I have to be honest, your scalps don't seem that great to me. Why not just cut when you're losing within some period of time? Then you don't end up down 60 points. With a ATR of 100 points, you can get it wrong 3 times, and still get a 20 point run to make you profitable.

I'm ecstatic sstheo did what he did these past few days.

I have ne'er seen shit like this. Today's range from Midnight to close on NQ was over 600 points. That is beyond nuts. I don't even want to think about yesterday.

Bottom line, this kind of movement is ballistically nonsensical with no market structure, and is not scalpable within reason. NONE. To be able to scalp out some profit from the insanity is admirable.

20 point run? That happens in seconds now, along with 2-3 point spreads. If you mean ES, nooby, oh, I haven't been focused on that one, but I reckon' that is just as hairy per tick-size-value.

NQ is absolute horror at this time. Good on you sstheo.

  9. That's what I'm saying. It's so easy to get a run, why hold for -60 points? Out of 118 possible points on ES, I scalped 65 today and just cut when it didn't work.

Edit: sorry, today's range was 197

Because he's trading the MNQ, which moves a lot more violently than the MES.
