Hey jerm, global warming is occuring in Somalia also, where there is no govt. So it can't be a govt ploy to gain control of your taxes and send in the UN to make you clean their bathrooms. And make Al Gore rich or something.
The sad thing is that all these media outlets/sources relied on the word of one blogger who is not even a climate scientist. "a number of conservative news outlets have made much in recent days of a blog post from a man who writes under the pseudonym Steven Goddard. " So who is Steve Goddard? "So what are his qualifications to post on climate issues? Who has/does he work for? How credible should he be taken? According to a question asked in one of his own postings Mr Goddard says; âI have a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Masters In Electrical Engineeringâ So academically he is about as qualified as myself and about as qualified as my cat to post his own analysisâs climate change. " " Goddard is known for a 2008 article in The Register where he posited that Arctic Sea ice is not receding and claimed that data from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) showing the opposite was incorrect. Goddard later issued a retraction on his statement. [3], [4] Goddard operates a blog titled âReal Scienceâ blog, originally Real-Science.com, and now as the Wordpress blog Real Science. Goddard has gone to some lengths to keep his identity hidden and his blog's web domain has been blocked from any identifying WhoIs information." " June, 2012 Goddard was quoted by Heartland senior fellow James Taylor as having showed âhow dramatically the NOAA and NASA bureaucrats have doctored the U.S. temperature data during the past several decades.â [6] Goddard's only previous connection to the heartland institute is a 2008 'analysis', A Tale of Two Thermometers (PDF) where he claims to have found cooling in the HadCrut temperature record."
Goddard, like Salby, is a fraud. Jerm, all you have is frauds. I have NOAA NASA The Met Service and essentially every science organization in the world. It's not even a fair fight. It's amazing how much noise you can make with bullshit though.
Bullshit. Here's more about the ringleader of the circus at NASA who was the subject of the article I posted: James Hansenâs Former NASA Supervisor Declares Himself a Skeptic Says Hansen âEmbarrassed NASAâ & âWas Never Muzzledâ http://www.epw.senate.gov/public/in...ecord_id=1a5e6e32-802a-23ad-40ed-ecd53cd3d320 EDITORIAL: Exit Jim Hansen NASAâs hot-air scientist cashes in James E. Hansen will no longer be touring the country preaching his end-times hysteria, collecting a $158,832 government paycheck for it. Mr. Hansen demonstrated a certain mastery of the art of leveraging, using his position as head of NASAâs Goddard Institute for Space Studies to promote a personal brand of global warming quackery. On Tuesday, Mr. Hansen announced his retirement. The vaudeville circuit wonât be the same. Never mind that May, 2014 was an average month, much cooler than 1998 and 2010 â and May temperatures have actually been in decline for 16 years. That isnât what the boss wants to see. http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/tabledata_v3/GLB.Ts+dSST.txt ftp://ftp.ssmi.com/msu/monthly_time...hannel_tlt_anomalies_land_and_ocean_v03_3.txt GISS May temperatures are diverging from RSS at a phenomenal 2.1ºC per century. Nice work Gavin! Well done. http://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2014/06/21/gavin-getting-his-new-job-done/
The left wants GDP to look bad, so for Q1, knowing GDP was going to look bad, they made efforts to make it look worse--by hiding government spending! Makes perfect sense.
rolling eyes at you feigned stupidity. no... the quarter already looked bad... so instead of lets say a a minus 1 followed by quarter of gdp growth of minus one.. they get to change it to a minus 3 but push plus 2 into the next quarter... pretty much assuring a non negative quarter and a recession.
In reality if you use the old way we calculated inflation we have been in a recession since just before the collapse in what 2008. I would not be surprised that if you really did the work you would see we have not really grown the economy since the reapeal of glass steagall by Clinton and Rubin. (this does not excuse Obama... the economy could have grown quickly if he cut taxes and invested in infrastructure.) but for a long time now... the gdp has been about govt spending... fed's free money and service service jobs coupled with fake accounting, unnaturally cheap money and fake inflation numbers. (Perhaps it has grown a little because we have had an influx of million of low pay workers... but the real manufacturing economy has been replaced with b.s. service crap and fake numbers. )
FCâs latest wild swing is that Goddard made up the data⦠which was produced and released by a government agency. The biased adjustments are not unique to the US. They are, however, common to government agencies that survive, indeed expand, on the back of the taxpayer. http://notrickszone.com/2014/07/01/...d-arctic-warming-stems-from-data-adjustments/ http://joannenova.com.au/2014/06/australian-bom-neutral-adjustments-increase-minima-trends-up-60/ http://notrickszone.com/2014/04/29/...eights-of-hand-to-craft-warming-from-cooling/ http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/05/...tedcorrectedupdated-can-you-guess-the-impact/ Q: What do these government efforts have in common?
