Scientific studies have determined that current technology is sufficient to reduce greenhouse gas emissions enough to avoid dangerous climate change. Economic The economic impacts of climate change may be catastrophic, while there have been very few benefits projected at all. The Stern report made clear the overall pattern of economic distress, and while the specific numbers may be contested, the costs of climate change were far in excess of the costs of preventing it. Certain scenarios projected in the IPCC AR4 report would witness massive migration as low-lying countries were flooded. Disruptions to global trade, transport, energy supplies and labour markets, banking and finance, investment and insurance, would all wreak havoc on the stability of both developed and developing nations. Markets would endure increased volatility and institutional investors such as pension funds and insurance companies would experience considerable difficulty. Developing countries, some of which are already embroiled in military conflict, may be drawn into larger and more protracted disputes over water, energy supplies or food, all of which may disrupt economic growth at a time when developing countries are beset by more egregious manifestations of climate change. It is widely accepted that the detrimental effects of climate change will be visited largely on the countries least equipped to adapt, socially or economically.
After looking at those CO2 charts are you still trying to say the CO2 increase is normal? Do you understand CO2 can lead both lead or lag and that CO2 is GHG? The earth has NOT stopped warming. Do I need to post the chart of ocean heat again? Do you have anything resembling brain matter in your cranium? Just STFU idiot.
It's one study that may or may not be right and it changes nothing. The earth's ice is melting everywhere .......due to global warming. Idiot.
Again you demonstrate just how f'king ignorant the average denial nutter is. By breathing out, we are simply returning to the air the same CO2 that was there to begin with.
One wonders how ice accumulated over those volcanoes in the first place. In other news, record heat in India now.
ROFL!!! Speaking of fucking ignorant... first you missed the obvious sarcasm and then you had to go to your propaganda site, skepticalscience, to look it up. At which time you copied and pasted the "basic" response verbatim without sourcing, as you've done so many times before. By breathing out, we are simply returning to the air the same CO2 that was there to begin with. https://www.skepticalscience.com/breathing-co2-carbon-dioxide.htm
I suppose the activity of the undersea volcanoes waxes and wanes as it does with those on land. I makes sense, to me anyway, that growth and shrinkage of the polar ice caps should be cyclical along with the climate and of course undersea volcanic activity.
We breath out more CO2 than we breath in. All respiring animal do, including the billions of ants, termites, bugs, birds, fire breathing dragons, and politicians.
