How many families in Canada go bankrupt due to unexpected medical costs? 10x fewer than those numbers in the US. That is the #1 cause of the family bankruptcy in the US.

50K coming to US is either very rich seeking extremely high specialization care or emergency cases. A Canadian working in the US with insurance etc. would still qualify for a "Canadian getting medical care in the US" and thus blurring the real figures.

Canada spends roughly $5K per year on per capita healthcare while US spends $10K. No wonder US care will be slightly higher quality for double the price.

Check your facts and do not post wrong information.

10s of thousands of US citizens travel abroad to places like Asia, South America, E. Europe to get items likes Heart Bypass or Knee replacements for 1/4th to 1/10th the costs and that too in top hospitals which are much above any average deals in the US.

US doctors and nurses traveling overseas might only be for extremely high level advanced studies/experiment related medical tours or for very rich patients needing care.

People are not dropping like flies in India or China due to medical reasons because healthcare costs are 100x cheaper. Same for places like Canada or Sweden or UK where costs are good 50% only.

So take your quality and shove it real deep until it really hurts that much that you need medical attention.............then you would know the numbers for real LoL !!!
