I'm looking to trade the UK Gilt & wonder whether anyone might be able to enlighten me to the difference between the 10 and 15 year contract? Are there any things to consideer such as liquidity etc....

    Many thanks

  2. Do you mean you're looking to trade Gilt futures? In that case, there's only one Gilt contract I'm aware of. If you're referring to the deliverables, anything between 8.5 and 13 years is ok.

Liquidity is something to consider for any product. Gilts are doing 25-30k/day last time I checked. Very low compared to T Notes or Euro Bunds.
