Does IB issue 1099-OID statements? How or when do you obtain it? It doesn't apply to most traders. If it applies to you and you've been with IB long enough to know, maybe you could enlighten me. I'm not sure that it matters to me. I guess that I could just report the OID accrual myself. My accountant seemed more concerned about it than me. I think that he is just worried that he'd submit my return and then I'd get the 1099-OID later resulting in an amended return.
