Let me explain it: 1. It is always volatile at the top or bottom. 2. Bear markets have the most vicious bull runs. If you add those together, we changed direction and going down for a while...
"The Bulls make money. The Bears make money. The pigs get slaughtered." from cramer of CNBC. Happy days are here again.
well if your a TRADER , it means everything for investors...well fundamentals etc. companies go bankrupt no amount of QE or interest rate of zero will make the stock go up. or no growth and sales drop 50% , the company valuations goes lower. the market just sets price. that is it'.the market doesn't create wealth or create value. the FED been manipulating the market even though economy been do pretty well in the last 5 years..people have money and companie were doing great, no reason for low rates. or gov't providing liquidity to the stock market, now the economy could free fall and fundamentals deterioate like the oil and gas sector. QE and interest rate of 1% isn't going make money losing companies or fraudulent companies not go bankrupt. the stock market is BS...and Trump keeps watching the stock and people store their wealth in some 'market' you are storing wealth on ponzi scheme or paper. intangibles that can evaporate in value. cause it's a derivative. stocks are derivatives. same as bonds. paper assets. same with currency.
