More bang for your buck in deflation protection. You can spend less on longer term treasuries to protect yourself from deflation with 100 year maturities than say a 20 yr

 

Of course I like vodka... And no, all that sh1t about untrapping the soul is just fed to the gullible Westerners. Alcohol just there to get you through the day.

 

There are many many people in this world who know nothing of inflation.

 

Are you saying life is so hard in Russia they get drunk to make it livable?

Or that they are so dependent on it they need to get by?

 

I think you can have a good understanding of inflation and that isn't necessarily exclusionary of having a hedge versus deflation.
