was he though? jew by blood line yes, but jew by religion, no! yes he did believe in the old testament, but surely the jewish belief is really based around the first coming, not the second coming - as christians believe. if Jesus was a 'real' jew, then this would mean he could not have believed in himself as the son of God. its like a blood line jew converting to islam. is he still a jew? oddly though, this is one of the key differentiations of the jews when compared to ALL other religions. anyone can become a christian, buddhist, muslim, sikh, hindu etc. ALL religions open their arms to new believers. NOT the jews however. yes, you can start going to their places of worship, believe what they believe, and practice their religion, but you will NEVER be accepted as 'real' jew unless you can prove it in the blood line - being of jewish race (i.e. the same race as their hated rivals - the arabs, as both people in fact claim to be direct descendants of abraham - so they are in fact one and the same race). so, you will always be a 'second class' jew, unlike other religions where everyone of the same religion is seen as equal. fact.
Ho, man............. ok, ok, ok......... here's the deal then can we settle it?? Jesus was the Son of God, neither by blood line NOR was He a Jew. What??? Yes, Jesus was the RESULT of a PROMISE made to Abraham, the "seed" of promise. Thus, the Christian Faith was born when Christ came. He was not even "begotten" of flesh. He was from the Holy Ghost who "overshadowed" the virgin Mary who gave birth to Him. Jews REJECT the faith (belief) that Jesus is the result of the promise God made a long time before. Is this clear now? That's why "Jews" are altogether a religion unto themselves. They have NOTHING to do with the LORD God. Any more than Muslims do. Or Hindus do. ............. Or Protestants, Catholics and all of that "Christianity" group - another false religion. Before we wrap up the subject, Jews killed Jesus Christ - plain and simple. They crucified Him. And they'd do it a million times over again if they had the chance today. Romans tried to get Him released, but the JEWS pushed it and got Him crucified - strictly and solely, they are responsible for Christ's death on the cross.
