I dont know why both giles and cabletrader are unable to post a reply without insults, Incredibly childish and its rather boring. I simply voice my opinions and my views. If you can not do the same then please do not bother to reply. I am not interested in these petty arguments with immature people. With almost every reply i get there is a paragraph with an insult and the rest is filled with each of you blowing your trumpets and flouting your ego. please grow up, someone does not agree with your views and you immediately begin to insult them? Your attitudes are disgusting, and i doubt my stay on this forum will be very long.
Explain to me how this post was insulting.... I responded to what you wrote in a non insulting manner. Also, explain to me how THIS post was insulting.... And this post... Where was the insult????? Please, oh Please show me the insults in these posts. This is why you annoy me, you use concrete words, like UNABLE. But you are wrong. I cannot find ONE SINGLE INSULT in any of those responses to your posts... You are the Baby. Not me. I understand and utilize the english language quite well, for an unlearned man. Peace and Hair Grease.... FYI Unable is defined as: 1. not having the necessary means or skill or know-how; 2. lacking necessary physical or mental ability; Now thats an insult.... Give and it shall be given.... Sow and you'll reap. Do unto others, etc.... Now you want a REAL insult. Pick up a dictionary and properly DEFINE the words you choose to use and make sure they are in their proper context when you type. Thats an insult Loved one.... Aight Nephew, I'm out. C# is making my head hurt. LOL.
With a $3000 account you are pushing your margin to the limit and $3000 to $20,000 would be very difficult to accomplish. What is your time frame for the $3000 to $20,000 by trading futures? Which currency? Currency Futures (Interactive Brokers) Underlying - Intraday - Overnight CAD - 1553/1150 - 3105/2300 EUR - 1283/950 - 2565/1900 GBP - 1350/1000 - 2700/2000
I didn't say it was Currency futures. It was Corn, Soy and the YM. I added an additional instrument as my account grew.
There you go again, jumping to incorrect conclusions, that's what you have done in almost all your posts and replies. Where did I claim I'm making 1200% a week? I made 1200% that week for a particular reason which you would know if you had bothered to read the thread properly before jumping in with inane comments. Where is the huge risk? Read the statement, follow the trades, there is in fact very little risk on each trade. You say a strategy like that is destined to fail but it didn't fail, it made 1200% in that week, it was a complete success and far exceeded targets. You say it was gambling but in fact it wasn't, it was pure skill, no luck involved. The win:lose and risk:reward demonstrate that as do the trade entries. You say turning $500 in $6500 in just over one week is useless, what an odd comment. I'm really not sure what your problem is to be honest. We all make money in different ways with different styles and strategies, sorry but you do not have the monopoly on consistently profitable trading, some of us here have been consistently profitable for a number of years and there is no reason why that consistency will not continue for years to come.
I just started to get into the YM and like it more than any currency future, it's great for day trading and maybe someone could start a thread on making 10 ticks a day - Everyday with the YM. But still $3000 into $20,000 would still be tough with any future/option/stock/fx trading.
Key phrase... "If the market gives it to you" Tough is relative. I derive great pleasure from trading, so none of it is tough.
That's right..... "if" the market gives it to you. Just like "if" you get all six numbers in the 6/49 lottery you win 10's of millions of dollars, not tough at all.
Hi bugscoe I read your comment before in another post and I meant to ask you about it but got distracted by all the noise, just run that by me would you. Pips down but in profit? Is that some sort of martingale?
