    The Sentinel was the short story that was the basis of Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. I guess that makes sense since HAL9000 ran the whole ship.

    There was a Star Trek episode (Season 2 Episode 24) called the Ultimate Computer where a centralized mainframe basically ran the whole Enterprise ship.

    Those people aren't "fools" per se. They spent their disposable income to satisfy their personal needs.

    Could they have bought a Corolla instead? Sure... but then how do they virtue signal?

    I have to say tesla is giving away the model 3 and Y.... I look at leases daily and a base Honda civic LX is leasing at the same price as a tesla model 3.

    Model 3 is 0 down and 349 a month/24/10k
    Thats damn cheap considering most leases now are $400 plus

    Meh,when I was a kid in the 60's they told us we'd all have flying cars by the year 2000. Where's my flying car!?
