#1 Oil Bull now short

The #1 oil bull now says he is short crude oil and natural gas. 3 months ago he was on the split screen every other week pumping $100 oil.

 

I assume you mean T. Boone Pickens?

 

its just a hedge for his stock portfolio so dont go out there shorting crude futures thinking you must be right, he is trying to avoid the debacle that got him on jan 07.

Don't kid yourself. TB is nasty...he'll buy it all through the 90's and into the 80's...

 

#1 oil bull now says he is capitulating on the short and sees oil above 100 in the second half.

 

He is a bit late - I am short the CL from $110.80 and starting here near $100.00 leaves no cushion imo for the volatility.

 

He was barely coherent. Senility setting in quick. The guy's no longer relevant after his big "Short Oil at $100" call failed.

 

No - he made that call to get everyone (insert dumb money) SHORT to create the last push and blow off top to $111.80.

 

Perhaps, but his fund admitted to taking quite a hit on that call.
