  4. No, they are not. Obama is trying to drive a stake through the heart of American capitalism and freedom.

Well, whether Obama or anybody else, "American capitalism and freedom" never did, and never will make America a prosperous country to set an example for other nations. All politicians should QUIT SPENDING MONEY THEY DON'T HAVE!

If any rational person believes that a particular political party has an exclusive franchise on sound fiscal policy they are completely dellusional. You can tax the top twenty-five percent at 90% and you still wouldn't dent the deficit.

Republicans = whores to corporate interests

Democrats = whores to the freeloaders and parasites

Both Parties = buying votes with other people's money

exactly. Both parties suck. Few politicians even care about real solutions. Politics is a dog and pony show to win public sentiment.

Yep, I get a big laugh from people who actually believe that one political party in absolute power would have a profoundly better influence on their lives.

The one thing that vexes me is the left side of the political spectrum that believes in complete wealth distribution and the nirvana that somehow the status, infrastructure and lifestyle of a society remains constant.
