Sheldon Adelson grew richer at a rate of $1 million per hour for the past two years, faster than anyone in history, to trail only Bill Gates and Warren Buffett among the 400 richest Americans. The 73-year-old Adelson, 70% owner of the Las Vegas Sands casino company, is worth $20.5 billion, according to Forbes magazine, which releases its list today.
