    Well, about 18K murders annually compared to less than 100 executions? So basicly the capital punishment is non-existent.
    Here is an idea! Let's execute every 2nd killers and see if that makes a difference. If not, we can abolish the death penalty...

    That is basic truth. Grab a gang banger and try him for murder and hang him publicly the next day right in his own neighborhood, murder rate would drop very fast.... after awhile nobody would be showing colors at all.... the way the US does punishment is a form of condoning..

    ..also, a little bit of Jail time is good for you. It makes you stronger some what. I know it has for me.

  8. I have always heard that too. The justification is that every drug addict tried pot before he tried the other drugs, so therefore pot is a serious issue and leads to other drugs.

    My only concern is that everyone I have ever know that did drugs said that pot was not the first thing they tried, alcohol was. Why isn't alcohol considered a gateway drug?
