Who controls the control? It is your account. The P&L will come to your account. You will have to deal with the P&L no matter how it was generated. By a bot or a hired trader or.....? Let's say out of the blue for no reason you start getting checks in the mail for $200 per day. After 3 months you start getting $1000 checks for a month. The you only get 10$ for 3 months. You will start looking why the hell you are not getting you $1000 or at least the $200?
Yes, discipline and looking at all as black or white. Follow the plan to the dots and you will have a better chance win the battle.
Control is not an issue, We have a mission. We looking for the options to achive it. We creat the master plan and add a few options in case of the need to deviate from the main on. Get the best manpower and equipment you can get and go to work. Watch the development and make adjustments if needed.
You have much to learn. How do you think you feel when your automated system starts losing money day after day? Is it just a losing streak or has your system strategy stopped working? Automated systems only remove trade by trade emotion, not bottom line emotion.
I hear you but coming up with an automated system that produces the kind of performance you're looking at on the S&P500 is close to impossible. To achieve these results with such consistency, you will likely opt for discretionary trading. Not that it can't be done, but chances are this is a new environment you will discover here and trust me, you can throw out the black and white logic if you want to succeed. It's all grey here.
Thank you all for your advice.. Ready to jump into the water (hot or cold) and start to swim. See you after a 1000 of chart/development hours.
