Sarkozy to make a speech in Davos about excess of capitalism. I guess he won't forget to talk about you know what.

The solution to excessive speculation and crap underwriting? END MORAL HAZARD.

Nationalize the Federal Reserve. End private ownership by Banks.

And next time Wallstreet leverages the wrong way in a Bear Market? They go bankrupt.

    That's Capitalism.

Instead, these Political schmucks would tax retailer's and Mainstreet shuffling around their IRA's, while Goldilocks and Big Investment Banks get a pass.

    It's total bullshit.

    END MORAL HAZARD.

  5. Sarko is ridiculous every speech he makes has some sort of FTT whether it be for the Amazon rain forest, the climate, the poor, evil speculators. Can Sarko run again in 2012?

I think if Cameron (?) wins this year, Sarko will start becoming marginalized and make the last 2 yrs more palatable. It really is his voice pushing this - Merkel keeps changing her tune depending on the week - and Brown is just a clown trying to win his first election on the back of manufactured class-warfare rage. The window to get something like this passed world-wide closes this year I think. If they can't get it done in '10, then we are "probably" safe for a spell.

Hate to say that but I see him being reelected in 2012.

Perhaps against Strauss-Kahn it would be harder...

Sarko is a mess. People in France like him because he is really active, energetic, strict and he represents authority well...But if you go beyond the image and see the reforms that came out, I have never seen such stupid laws as Sarko's one.

For example, do you know that advertisement is now forbidden on french national TV channels? Guess who is paying to fund french TV now ... And we only had ads once per movie , nothing like in the US...Stupidity at its finnest.

    Sorry I digress.

I wanted to say" nothing like in the US where there are ads every 30 minutes or so...". Sarko said there were too much advertisement on french TV. You would pay a lot more if there were no ads.

    Back to TT...
