  7. When did anyone ever think anything BUT behavior modification and statist control freakism ever motivated anyone behind this insane growing momentum idea?

    The controlling Feudal Kings want yet another revenue source for power enrichment and consolidation, and more control over the herd of serfs.

    CNBC, a willing tool of GE and other leftist idiocy, who also run MSNBC, will push this until we are taxed 90% of all transactions, if given any chance. These people are crazy, and must be stopped at any price and by any means necessary, and I do mean ANY means, just to be clear...

    Agreed. This is going to pass in some form, although I find it rather comical that the tool on CNBC supporting this tax admits that it won't bring in the significant revenues that congress expects. The tax will be just another way for Democrats to control and ruin our lives.

    It always was about curbing trading, not raising revenue. They just used the dollar figure as justification.
