"The UK government has been told to carry out a proper feasibility test for the financial transaction tax (FTT) by one of its parliamentary committees, driven by concerns the Treasury has rejected it for simply being too difficult." Haven't their already been like a million of these studies done outlining how damaging this tax would be? How many times do they need to see the evidence? It sounds like a couple of crazies on a committee just trying to make news. There is no way the UK is going to do an about face and embrace the ftt. Sounds like another waste of time and resources. -Guru
