So... some of you did see the issue. Tree slayed the answer. Thank you for explaining that because I was wondering.

just to recap the issues i saw...

The article spoke of antibody tests and a group of people who had exhibited as symptom in the last month... making one think the point of the study was to see if perhaps more of us had Covid and did not know it. And, give us some hope we may have a community building immunity or that RO is lower... (I understand the risk with those assumption.... no condescending lectures from a lefty are needed)

But, the officials spoke as if this showed the people were infectious almost as if the people had taken Covid 19 tests and a positive for antibodies is the same as a positive for an active infections.

Finally, it could just be poorly written by the author. Who probably should have followed up with they officials since their responses seemed off.

Ze Germans are also doing the equivalent of 500k tests per day, or about 300 times what we are doing.

South Korea and Germany are leaders in the COVID-19 response. Both countries have wide-scale testing and fill contact tracing in place. Germany was even able to trace its first community case back to the exact salt shaker in a restaurant that it came from.

  4. The united states got off to a poor start because the test kits inherited from the CDC bureacratic model were all flawed. Fauci, has now forthrightly stated that they have learned that they needed to partner with the private sector to be be successful because that is where all the solutions are coming from. As discussed, Trump is taking the process to a more robust level and will ultimately result in American leadership in testing and in volume. Just as with the ventilators. where we tried to fight the battle with inherited crap and were having critical shortages, but now we are handing them out like candy to the rest of the world. This is in contrast to your view and that of your tard ilk, that consistently argued that we have just had a couple more CDC people in the payroll so that they could have maintained their Department of Motor Vehicles model of crisis management. The whole model was broken. Mr. Trump is fixing that.

In regard to Germany, they had a similar experience. They had a critical need for testing but their Central Planning/DMV type agencies did not have what was needed. But once they broke out of that model, one of big hospitals almost immediately produced a test kit process and made them a leader in testing.

Similarly, in this country, Washngston state was in the worst shape at one point, but now they are leaders. They quickly accepted the fact that the CDC- Department of Motor Vehicles mentality did not work. Not only were the CDC's test kits broken and flawed, but the lazy DMV type of process of sending them to CDC lab and having the results come back in a week to ten days was beltway slug planning and mentality. Voila, the University of Washingston stepped up and created its own kits and off they went.

You live to point out how Trump and the current administration are failing. But now your Chicken Little ventilator routine has been brought to a screeching halt and we are world leaders in production and soon that will be true for testing. We learning how to implement an entirely new and robust approach to pandemics and acquiring skills and supplies for ourselves and the world. You are stuck back in 1950's or something, just crying out about how more people should have been hired in some agency. That's all you got. And Joe Biden too. You would be making ventilators and drugs down at the DMV if you had your way. I mean where else you gonna go for new ideas among your lefty ilk?

Are any of you fuckheads really traders? The piss poor analysis of pretty every one of you is mind blowing. It leads me to believe you have no skill at gathering information and correctly analyzing it.

Lets say this test is accurate. If it is, it means this whole thing was blown completely out of proportion and it is time to re-open all parts of the economy, immediately.

There have been other tests that seem to indicate this test may be accurate.

Pregnant women with no symptoms are testing positive for coronavirus after birth

A total of 215 women at two New York City hospitals were screened for COVID-19 between March 22 and April 4.

Thirty-three patients tested positive, but only four showed symptoms.

The study, put together by four doctors, revealed that one patient with a swab that was negative for SARS-CoV-2 on admission became symptomatic postpartum.

SARS-CoV-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19.

The first diagnosed case of coronavirus in an obstetrical patient was on March 13.

That's not the reason for our "poor start." We got of to a poor start because of: 1) the bureaucratic appointees of Jackass Trump, such as the head of the CDC, were appointed on the basis loyalty and contributions to the Trump campaign, rather than competence; 2) we refused to use tests developed in other countries that were readily available to us; 3) our jackass President said there was nothing to worry about, it would "all go away"; 4) even though we were doing a tiny fraction per capita of the testing other countries were doing, Jackass Trump kept lying and insisting "we're doing more tests than any other country," and 5) because jackasses such as your self support the incompetent, former reality show host, pathological liar, and mentally ill, disgusting, lying, orange clown, otherwise known as our Jackass President.

  10. I see. So even Fauci flat-out states that that is what got us off to a slow start.

I thought we were supposed to be "listening to the experts."

I guess not. It is not Fauci's explanation of what went wrong that matters. It is Piezo's.

Piezo is another life-long government employee who has the creativity and crisis management experience of a DMV employee.
