Looks like Victor Niederhoffer blew up again

  1. Rumor at one of the big houses is that Victor Niedderhoffer blew up again for the third time. This time with personal funds, as well as a trust his wife had. Pretty sad, but not totally unexpected.

I remember checking out his site last year, and this senile old bat has some crazy inane nonsensical ramblings. Just brutal to read. I always wondered how he kept up the high living, and now we know that his wife had some serious coin that came her way by inheritance.

I wonder if he will have the guts to come clean. He has never admitted that his methodology is wrong. He trashes Buffett whenever he can, too...lol. He thinks that the only ones who can profit are the ones who take the most risk, so he will ALWAYS disregard risk. In fact, he actively searches out risk.

Shame on you, Victor! Thankfully your parents aren't around to see this. I know your father was a hardworking man who would be turning over in his grave if he knew the schemes you were involved in, all because you didn't want to do an honest day's work. Disgusting.

where is surf? surely surf must know.

I wonder if he still sells premium as the position moves against him.

his squash backhand was the sweet swing of the highly accomplished player he was.

Victor who? Recently it has been Karen the Supertrader all the rage in the annals of index option sellers. My money is safe with her and I sleep well, because she adjusts....

Anyway, what was it this time, Lean Hogs or Pork Bellies?

P.S.: It would be #4, by the way, 1997,2001 and 2007 being the previous 3...

Here was an interesting quote on his blog today...

    http://www.dailyspeculations.com/wordpress/

It used to be 50 to 75 years ago that Homestake mines and Asa both led inversely the Dow. From shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in 3 generations. Which reminds one that one was once playing tennis with the palindrome at Tennis Port where you needed to be a billionaire to play there, and we met one of the most successful tech investors of the 80s and he called out to me "what are you doing these days Vic. Haven't seen you in years?" And the Palindrome answered before I could say a word, "don't worry, exactly the same." Regrettably he was right then and now.
