    Hello,

I'm looking for a trading space in NYC(anywhere in city) for myself(1 person). I will be trading on my own PA and I do not need capital.

Please PM me or post here if you know any firm or you can offer it.

    Thanks.

have you looked at regus, Empire, or Stark Office Suites?

they might be cheaper, unless you find a firm that is willing to sublet an office or a desk.. which might not be as easy... or you can always just find a cheap studio and rent that..

    No.

I'm more of looking for a desk spot, to be around other traders, but without having to U4 into a firm.

  4. You trade your own PA and don't need capital....so why do you want to sit around others traders?

hmmm... you do realize that this is the "Community Lounge > Hook Up" section of the board... and also, that not everyone is out there begging for money to trade but might just want to be with those that might be like mind and not uptight asses...

  6. watching screens in your home office or den can be mind numbing. It would benefit some to get dressed for work and shuttle in and sit next to others pursuing the same rewards.

I understand what the OP is looking for. Its to be in a social setting with like minded folk. Sometimes just posting on a message board is not enough.

  7. Other than the social aspect of making friends or just being around other people, which the OP has NOT mentioned yet as his goal, I don't see any other benefit for him. Personally, I would not want to leave my place, commute in NYC via train or bus, just to go to an office and sit around people while trading my own PA strat.

But if that's what he wants, then more power to him. It was just an honest question.

  8. You are probably right. I've been trading alone for a long time, but make time for friends/fam a lot so as not to become a hermit :)

I only been trading at home for a little over month, I'm just not use to that.

  10. PA trading is very eye and mind intensive, I'm surprised you'd rather be in an office environment where you could get distracted. Especially because it sounds like you are not looking to trade any other strategies but rather focus on your own.
