He has the same military experience as Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Rand Paul, Chris Christie, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O'malley et al. Jim Webb, Rick Perry and Lindsay Graham served although Graham was a lawyer so that hardly qualifies.
On the one hand, you have to admire Trump for being the bull in the china shop. At least for the entertainment value. There is something to be said for being unpredictable and crazy. It's scares the shit out of your opponents, and turns them into passive wusses. Same tactic women employ on guys who've "wronged" them. Civilized guys are afraid of crazy women. Civilized candidates are afraid of crazy opponents. Now if he simultaneously used his wealth to eliminate his opposition via background checks, and finding/exposing their skeletons, then he'd really bolster his odds of winning. But, if he does win, his entire term may be lame duck if he can't get anything done. Hard to be a dictator in government when the government knows all it has to do is sit and wait until he leaves or gets voted out.
I guess the only one that is doing it is the one who was told that his supporters were a bunch of crazy lunatics because they wanted the border closed to stop criminal aliens from streaming across. And the proof that mccain was right and that people like me were wrong is......war hero.
For my last comment on the Trump/McCain issue I'll just close it with Trump ran his mouth and said something stupid. There's no way to excuse or minimize it without making myself look like a hypocrite when I point out all the excuse making the leftists do about terrorists and black on black crime. The man fucked up. Period. Maybe he can learn to manage his mouth, but I doubt it. He's a salesman with a gigantic ego. I know the type. They never shut up. If they screw up during their pitch, they just plow ahead. You end up either throwing them out, or you buy something. Rejection is just part of the job if that's what happens. Close the deal or move on. It's what they do.
Trump was trying to slam McCain, which McCain certainly deserves. He just picked the wrong way to do it. McCain was a war hero. The Vietnam war is over. McCain is worthless as a U.S. Senator. I will take a guy who is right on 100 things and wrong on one, than a guy who claims to be a conservative and is wrong nearly every time he opens his mouth.
