Have anyone tried or heard of the following brokerage firms: - Attain Capital - Fox Investments - Lind-Waldock - Logic Powered Capital - PFG - System Broker - Striker - TradeCenter Inc. Are they good and reliable brokers? Any comment about any of the above firms are highly appreciated. The reasons why I ask is because I'm somewhat interested in their provision of trading systems and services. Thank you.
Attain Capital - Fox Investments - Lind-Waldock - Logic Powered Capital - PFG - System Broker - Striker - TradeCenter Inc. Fox Investments are a division of Mann. They have been around for years, great support, and good commissions. Lind-Waldock was family owned then became a division of refco. They are still holding strong, always coming up with new technology and education for new traders. PFG is one of the best. Also family owned. Ask for certain brokers for discount commissions. Great support and new software was just released. Thatâs all I know from personal experience.
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately nearly none of them are in the broker list. If the platform of PFG is so slow and bad, how am I comfortable to run a trading system here, even if it is profitable? It's going to screw things up only.
I demo'ed the PFG "Best" platform early last year. It was a slow, archaic thing that I was obviously not going to be able to work with. Then they got hooked up with Trade Maven and came out with the "Fast" platform, which was identical to the TM platform, and night and day different (better) than their "Best" platform. Then I found Proactive Futures, and just used the TM platform through them. Don-
Attain and Fox are ok; reputable and reliable if expensive. Stay a million miles away from Striker --- they will cost you.
TM is the TradeMaven software ("front end"). Offered by PFG ("FCM") as a white label with name "BEST DIRECT Fast". In order to use it you would need a broker that runs PFG or PATS server. www.pfgbest.com/fast/ www.jrfutures.com/tradingplatform.html www.trademaven.com/trademaven/software.html
