How will you trade next week if selling continues? Shorting stocks? es? Buying puts or inverses? Whatcha gonna do? I had a winning week trading SQQQ TZA etc and am holding into weekend. Will keep scaling into swings as well as daytrading. Go bears!!
Profits taken. If the market can take out this weeks low for more than a few minutes, I will explore buying ES OTM 2-3-1 symmetrical butterfly spreads in puts. I like the 2-3-1 structure here because of favorable skew and certainty of profit should the market accelerate to the downside while I’m sleeping. For those with high confidence in a big selloff, buying 40 delta ES puts one week out probably provides the best bang for the buck for a defined risk trade.
I've been at around 30% equity exposure for a few weeks now. Too late to outright short IMHO, but expecting market to remain weak at least until election. Will look for a bounce to sell OTM calls.
market may go down....but there are some stonks that trend up on multiple days, weeks and months. and no, i'm not talking about penny stonks. as a real trader, you will know how to look for them based on your criteria and experience.
Right, like recent moves up in DKNG PENN etc. I'll keep daytrading strong stocks plus day and swing trading inverses.
Inverses gapping up nicely today premarket, I bought a bit of SQQQ SPXS to add to current swings Go bears!
Yay bears! my current swing trading tiny positions, will scale up size tomorrow if selling continues faves = SQQQ TZA SPXS SDOW
