Hey there...I tried to trade JO and Fidelity wouldn't allow it. The company (Bloomberg iPath) will allow it to be sold, but no more buying. I use to trade this one a lot...If I had extra cash in an IRA, I'd buy 100 shares, then do a covered call. Just wondering if there is other ETFs that trades coffee?? Or, a blended ETF that has coffee as one of it's largest holdings?? Thanks...
I'd rather not go into the futures market...I'm thinking pork bellies!! I'm a boring safe (value) investor. I want something that if it's not touched for years, I wouldn't have to close positions. Long story...I'm 66 1/2, two heart attacks, would have a bank's trust department take care of our trust (estate). Just want an ETF that may not have to be touched if necessary (covered calls)...
MOO is an agricultural ETF that invests in companies but not the commodities. Almost $2B AUM. Options are pretty thin but a fill at mid would be a decent price as long as you don't want to adjust/roll the call prior to expiration. Place the order as 1 order not 2. Example: Buy Nov 102 Covered Call @ 93.64 limit ($9,364). Almost 9% in less than 7 months. https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MOO
