Yess the fed reassuring wallstreet again that it will use all tools available......just keep printing those trillions. This is absolute proof that the economy can't even stand on its own, that it needs to be continously propped up and spoon fed liquidity..... As some people believe the fed does NOT assist in higher equity prices, well this is just more proof that the fed does anything and everything it can to keep wallstreet happy and content. Powell says the Fed is committed to using all its tools to promote recovery PUBLISHED FRI, MAR 19 202111:42 AM EDTUPDATED FRI, MAR 19 202112:26 PM EDT https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/19/pow...-using-all-its-tools-to-promote-recovery.html
You absolutely are right. But what if this can go on for a very long time, like 100 years. Does it really matter for us??? Yes, our grand kids might suffer consequences, then again they might be living on Moon or Mars by then, and outlaw Fed there
Here's a thought.... What if it wasn't Obama who is the "Archangel of Death" for America (with his "social justice, death to America BS agenda", you know)... but rather POWELL?? (Powell is going against the historical "money printing inflation catastrophical destruction of a country" in order to secure perceived "growth"... regardless of how "inflation-artificial" it is? And lying about inflation and its destructiveness every step of the way?)
Hate to spoil your conspiracy party... But the Fed doesn't give a sh1t about stock prices. It cares about full employment (which we're not at) and aiming for 2% inflation. Now go ahead and call me stupid and pretend you know it all....
Why are you pretending that "you know it all"? The true inflation rate is likely more like 8-10% and Powell has been "massaging the numbers.. aka LYING" about it all along. And BTW... how are we ever going to have "full employment" when we admit illegal aliens across the border in droves?
Haha another one who says the fed doesn't care about stock prices. It's clear as day they do. A dive in equities would have fed in constant emergency meetings trying every which way to prop them back up. We had full employment about 2 years ago and they will still propping up stocks with historical low interest rates and liquidity to the system.
1. Just look at price increases which affect your purchases over time. 2. Others report "inflation running WAAAAAY above Fed's "official" rate. 3. The Fed has an incentive to "massage the official inflation rate" numbers to make it appear to be less than it is. So no surprise they state it WAAAY under the actual rate. If you're not getting this... WISE UP! Fed says, "Inflation <2%". YOU GOTTA BE A DUMBASS TO BELIEVE IT!
Uh, are you aware that the Fed just took down the SLR exemption and is verbally supporting higher rates? Do you even know what's going on in the bond market?
I'll tell you what I'm waiting for... One more real good piece of news supporting a bullish USD bet. There's a lot of pent up demand. What is your opinion on what's causing US Treasury yields to rise?
