Yahoo Finance eliminates Stocktwits (Market Pulse) feed

  1. Looks like Yahoo Finance has discontinued the Stocktwits feed, which they called Market Pulse. The link was just below the Message Boards link, now it's gone.

Even though it was 95% crap I enjoyed reading it once in awhile.

StockTwits is a flawed model right off the bat and it doesn't surprise me they canned it.

Interesting comment, I find Stocktwits quite helpful to find charts that might accentuate something that could signify a good trade from an instrument I am not monitoring, opportunity.

In all honesty, I wish ET had more charts and less bullshit comments.

Real time news, charts come to mind, not everything is about opinion or calls in Stocktwits.

Any trader worth anything is already going to have real time news and charting in his trading platform.

I agree. I do not see any value. It was a matter of time this happened.

Charts take time to get analyzed and many times a competent chartist can provide his analysis for you from something you were not even aware of.

As far as news, not all news hit the typical wires before twitter and stocktwits, especially rumors or activists decisions.

  10. Show a chart to 3 technical analysts and get 4 opinions. Man, you are barking up the wrong tree if you think consensus TA makes sense.
