I was wondering if anyone has had, or has heard of this problem. I downloaded X Trader from Amp to try it out. Installation went fine and I was able to run Guardian. But that was it. Any sort of clicking in the Guardian window (selecting a menu, right clicking in the window, whatever) caused the software to freeze and I had to kill the process. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the software with the same results. This is running on a 64bit Win7 machine that I have no problems with otherwise. Any suggestions? AMP tech support gave me one suggestion before they gave up, and that was to turn off my firewall. I tried it, and it didn't help. Anyone experience this problem?

Hi AMP_Trading, I received your PM. I can't deal with this during the trading day. The first opportunity I get time after hours, I will. Thanks. For the record, I spoke with someone on the phone and via email. The person was friendly, but was stumped what the problem could be. I'll try again when I get the chance.
FWIW, I always ran TT on a dedicated workstation configured per TT's technical bulletin. TT Damon is especially sensitive to firewall settings. Also, I never ran any other applications or programs not required by TT on the machine. Same for CTS4. I'm not saying that's your problem, but it might be something to consider. Open up your Task Manager and see how many processes you are running.
Rum Runner, I'm the X_TRADER Product Manager at Trading Technologies. Hopefully your issue has been resolved. If it has not, please contact our support desk. Regards, Patrick
Thanks everyone. AMP has reached out to me privately and although I haven't had the opportunity in my schedule, I hope to be able to try the latest version early this week to see if it makes any difference. Patrick. If AMP is unable to figure it out, I'll try TT support. Thanks.
Just to update this thread. After downloading and installing the latest version, it appears to be working now. Thanks AMP and TT.
