As title... would you teach your kid Scalping? If yes, what would you teach him? - Using a secret indicator - Good scalping method - Or some efficient risk management? If not...Please feel free to comment why below.
Scalping is amongst the hardest types of trading, I'd rather teach him speculating / swing trading first
There are safest ways to lose money: slot machines, crypto day trading, 6/49 government lottos. Just keep your kids away from scalping guys, shame on you ninza.co for posting this rubbish
Indeed, swing trading would be my instruction also. New traders are influenced by Trading Guru's like Al Brooks, who teaches scalping the 5 minute chart. The fact he states that it took him over 10 years before he became profitable should be a warning to future scalpers.
Scalping - close the position within a few mini seconds to a few minutes day trading - close the position within a few seconds to a few hours _______________________________ I'd teach my kid day trading, not scalping. If you want to teach your kid scalping, you have to teach him high-frequency trading using a powerful machine with a high-speed internet connection.
I'd prioritize teaching my child about the basics of trading first before considering more advanced strategies like scalping.
I would teach to invest early and often and by the time he or she is 40 most likely they will be a millionaire.
Never would I mention any type of short term trading before they had a solid handle on how to start a business and basic accounting...The difference between an asset and a liability...IRA types and advantages, the power of real estate and rental properties, long term slow growth strategies, etc... How to keep the money you earn instead of giving it to a wasteful government, how to not be a wage slave normie basics. honestly trading should be last on the list of ways to teach a kid to make money unless they show a real interest in it...at that point I say go for it.
