Was just chewing the cud (like a cow/goat). IF you could get regulatory approval, would it fit well?? Apple could double/triple their store locations. Get rid of unprofitable locations. T-Mobile does not have the landlines that A T & T/Verizon has...Less labor union costs. I know how the Apple stores are laid out (security and all)...That would be a problem. And yeah, Apple works from scratch on store location build out. Do they want to take on a network?? Don't slam me...Just asking.
Then all the other providers would shun Apple and to be fair, all the apple sheep would change there contract to T-Mobile so actually it would work out fine. p.s. T-Mobile vanished in the UK 10+ years ago. Merged with Orange, that later changed it's name to EE for some reason.
I don't think it would be a good fit. Cell phone companies operate on relatively thin margins compared to the fat ones that Apple receives. Producing a cell phone allows it to be sold internationally, but selling a phone service is limited to the range of the cell phone tower. And selling phones, Apps, icloud storage, Apple Pay, and Apple TV are services that can be sold anywhere.
Nothing like that, but rather some kind of global internet with drones or zeppelins. That would make even more sense for Apple than for Mark Zuckerberg. Think different.
There ends the story, because they were banned from some similar deal (?) Sounds good , until Elon's plans comes into reality (?) https://www.starlink.com/
You never know. This “think different” mantra ist what drives me crazy. Wish they would focus on “think better” instead...
