With rates up so high, When are brokers going to start paying interest on uninvested cash?

  1. Before 2008, when interest rates were this high, we would get a few percent interest on our uninvested cash at most brokers. When are brokers going to start doing that again?

Buy SNSXX (money market account) at TDA/Schwab with uninvested cash and earn 2.36%.
Fidelity keeps uninvested cash in a treasury fund (SPAXX) earning 2.6%.
