You heard it here first. Wisconsin marks the beginning of the end for this clown. It doesn't end well for Trump or the Republicans. They managed to take an election that should have been a slam dunk and make it unwinnable.
Nonsense. Nobody cares what happens in Wisconsin. They don't like that they aren't going to have Scott Walker. Fine. Let them continue to make cheese or whatever it is that people do in Wisconsin. If the nomination is stolen from Trump you are going to see large scale protests and a rejection of any non-democratic outcome. Once something like that is ignited it is hard to see where it stops, possibly with the overthrow of the US government. Go there and see what happens. If, for instance, the republicans somehow manage to dismiss the primary votes of millions of people and insert Paul Ryan as the candidate he would be held responsible for the subsequent election of Hillary Clinton. He would lose his Senate seat along with many other republicans likely ceding Congress to the democrats. He would be utterly shunned and castigated daily for the rest of his short ass political career. He is already regarded as a traitor, let him add usurper to that resume and see how that works out for him.
Losing big in Wisconsin won't kill Trump, but it's a definite gut punch. Best thing to do if you're anti-Trump is just let him keep talking. I can't understand why the "protesters" want to shut him up. The guy is his own worst enemy. For a person who is supposed to be a master salesman he is committing an amateur mistake. He keeps talking after the deal has been closed.
He is not selling, he is leading, gathering followers, but I agree, he's starting to see the stress a candidate goes through when the media puts every word or gesture under a microscope and takes it all out of context. That's why normal politicans no longer say anything substantive. His battle now is not against Cruz or Hillary, it is against the media. Most of us are ambivalent about Cruz and even to some extent about Hillary (after all she is pretty well qualified in international affairs) but oh, do we ever hate the media! And anybody who can win that war and make them look more foolish than they make him look in the eyes of the American people is my man. Trump vs Chris Matthews? Death match. He certainly lost the first round.
I don't recall ever seeing such hostility to a candidate from the media. Of course the mainstream ie leftwing media have always been hostile to republicans. The only thing close was the all out assault on Richard Nixon for a bunch of minor stuff that no one can even explain now. Obama has done ten times worse stuff than Nixon and no one blinked an eye. This time is different because you have the crazed hysteria from both the mainstream media and what is supposed to be the conservative media. The conservative media is even worse. Incidentally, I retract my retraction about Mark Levin being part of the Trump Derangement Syndrome crowd. I heard him ranting about the drama queen reporter's case. He is now officially in the Glenn Beck nutcase ward, along with Megyn Kelly. Kelly let slip last night that it is personal with her because Trump's campaign manager called Fox to demand that she not be on the panel. So he is roadkill to her. The republicans are well on their way to destroying what was left of the party. Seriously, who gives a crap? If these assholes in their bow ties or blonde Fox bimbos think Hillary is preferable, why should we bother with them? Cruz or Kasich have no chance, Paul Ryan is a sell out who was a big factor in Romney losing, and Romney himself not only lost a very winnable election through stupidity and arrogance, now he wants to sabotage the only guy who has chance of winning. I have had it with the lot of them.
