'Autoworkers Will Not Have Any Jobs': Donald Trump Slams UAW President, Warns That All EVs 'Will Be Made In China' — 2 Top EV Stocks No Matter Where The Cars Are Made
As part of the United Auto Workers (UAW) union strike against Detroit's Big Three, approximately 13,000 autoworkers recently walked off the job. According to former President Donald Trump, the future looks bleak for America's automotive industry.

Will the UAW strike affect the workers' future?

When the auto industries are not competitive enough,
they cannot afford to pay the workers well.

Years ago, the auto industries' CEOs had to go to the lawmakers to
ask for $$$. So hopefully the auto industries have made
    major changes.

Soon there will be no strike (no workers ---> no strike).

China's COGS is always lower than the US's.

Seems UAW got smarter, they saw such "Friendshoring" moves and it's time for car makers to pay higher to bring supply chain home.

Wages go up so car prices go up, average car payment is $725 monthly.

Pandemic supply chain shortages caused the higher prices ... so far. Which then caused higher insurance rates for the higher priced vehicles.

C-suite folks are continuing to get higher and higher wages/options/bonuses. Why shouldn't the folks who actually do the work?

As for commodities. Autos are made of a lot more than metals these days. Plastics, rubber, glass, fiberglass, rare earths in the case of EV's, etc.
